IT'S A GIRL!!!!

We had our second ultrasound today and found out that we are expecting a little girl! Everything looked great and she looks very healthy! She is measuring a little smaller than what my original due date was but they are not going to change my due date. Instead they just said that they expect her to be a little smaller than the boys were when they were born.

Ryan was really hoping for a boy. He said that he loves his little brother Dylan so much that he wanted another brother just like him. So even after finding out that we will be having a girl he is still convinced that it will be a boy.

Dylan on the other hand wanted a girl. He seems to be excited but I'm not sure if he grasps the whole idea of a new baby yet. We will just have to wait and see.

Jason is ecstatic! Seriously, he was ready to go buy pink paint...not too sure what he was going to paint but he was ready. He keeps referring to the baby now as a girl and then busts up laughing because he never thought he would be saying that.

I am very happy to welcome a little girl to our family as us girls were beginning to feel out numbered. Liana and I had to go buy some girl outfits tonight. It was very strange to be in the girl section of baby clothing. We had to keep reminding ourselves that we could shop for a girl now because we kept wondering back over to the boy clothing. I'm not sure if it has completely sunk in with me yet. I am just happy that this pregnancy is going so well and I can't wait to welcome a healthy baby to our family.

We are still tossing ideas around for a name but right now we like Rebecca Lynn. This name is not set in stone at this point... although we like the first name because it is my middle name (Ryan has Jason's middle name) and I really wanted a "Y" somewhere in the name and Lynn fit perfect which happens to be the middle name of several family members.

(This is a picture of me today, at 20 weeks. We have taken a picture of me pregnant with each of the boys from 20 weeks on. Of course we kept that tradition and took a picture of me this morning before we left for the ultrasound.)

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!
