Well Child Checks!

I took the kids to their well child check ups yesterday. Here are the results...

RYAN is 45lbs and 43inches @ 4 1/2 years old! He is very healthy and doing fantastic in school. He writes all the letters of the alphabet plus numbers one through ten, he writes and spells his own name, he identifies letters and numbers, we spell out a word while he writes it, plus his teacher said he is the only child in her pre-k classes that knows which letters are vowels. Ryan is full of life, active, that loves to be the center of attention. He has recently found out just how much he loves his dad's gameboy and his mom's computer. I never thought I would have to negotiate computer time with my 4 year old. He loves all the games on websites like playhouse Disney! He is hoping to play football and baseball in Odessa this summer! He loves singing, dancing, and school. Before we know it he'll be starting kindergarten.

DYLAN is 36lbs and 37inches @ 2 years and 9 months old! The doctor did a little assessment on Dylan while we were there and said that he is developmentally very ahead of other kids his age. He tries to keep up with his big brother plus loves to have Ryan teach him new things which is why I'm sure he is advanced in most areas. He talks in complete sentences, identifies shapes, feeds himself completely (he has done that since before he was one), kicks balls, throws things (not sure this is a good thing), runs, jumps, climbs, brushes his teeth, dresses himself (when he isn't grouchy and insisting mom do it), stacks and groups things, points at his body parts when you name them (i.e. belly button, eyes, ears, ect), counts to 13, identifies some letters, and sings the entire alphabet (along with many other songs). Dylan is our shyest child, hiding behind us until he feels comfortable around new people. He is also our lovey dovey child. He loves to give hugs and kisses!!

REBECCA is 15lbs and 26inches @ 6months and 14days old! She is doing everything she should be for her age...rolling over (from time to time), sitting by herself (for a couple minutes at a time), playing with toys, grabbing toys, playing with her feet (all the time), baby talking, smiling, and laughing. Plus she is doing a few things that are more advanced like feeding herself cookies and crackers, drinking from a cup with help from mom or dad, and eating baby food several times a day. Rebecca is so sweet. She is our easiest baby *knock on wood*. She is so content and can entertain herself very well. She loves getting attention from us and her brothers! She is somewhat of a mama's baby right now but as she gets older she seems to enjoy everyone equally. We couldn't ask for a happier, healthier baby!

The doctor said that all three kids are PERFECT!! I'd have to agree, for the most part. ;-)
